Tales of the Orient: The Rising Sun

Tales of the Orient is a classical match-3 game with a very typical storyline. Here you go to Japan, meet two characters the geisha Satsu and the samurai Miyamoto and help them build a new village. So you play through a lot of very entertaining match-3 levels, collect bonuses and resources, overcome all kinds of obstacles and help the two save the day.

This is that kind of match-3 games where you get to deal with such thing as limited moves, which is highly annoying sometime. But you can always earn extra moves if you rebuild the buildings, for example.  The game has three different modes: pop, chain and swap, and you can choose the one you want before each level. By the way, The rising Sun is not the most challenging game to play, so it would be perfect for the beginners especially if you pick the relaxed mode.

Visually this match-3 adventure is quite impressive. Graphics are very colorful, sharp and bright, the Japanese theme is clearly noticeable mostly thanks to the specific type of buildings. Music has oriental motives which is a very nice touch, the soundtrack overall is very pleasant and relaxing.

If we ignore the fact that Tales of the Orient: The Rising Sun is far from being innovative and original, we still can say this is a great match-3 game for pc.
