Shiver: The Lily's Requiem

So, first of all there’s a very intriguing plot. You get to play as a doctor Robert Thompson who just started working in the hospital of Blackwill. On your first day a very strange thing happens: a young woman gets attacked by some stranger and suddenly you realize she’s connected to one of your old patients. As a main character of this game you get to reveal the truth and uncover all secrets. Yes, the beginning is pretty much interesting, but as soon as intro ends the story goes nowhere. Plus this sequel isn’t even as creepy as all its predecessors.

Visually the game looks like it never belonged to the franchise. It’s bright and light colors dominate the scenery a lot. But we can’t ignore the fact that the game has improved a lot. Graphics are colorful, clear and sharp. Music isn’t distracting, not boring and not annoying. Soundtrack is very well done and fits the atmosphere.

If you think Lily’s Requiem is full of complicated and clever puzzles and mini-games, you are wrong, unfortunately. But at least they are various and some of them are innovative, which is very cool. The challenge level of this game is kinda low and the hardcore gamers will find it simple. We wish the developers would rise up the difficulty and then everyone will be satisfied.
