The storyline in this game for mac is captivating, though not unique and was done hundreds times. There’s a lot of interesting elements, dialogs, plot twists and even backstories are fascinating. Visually The Whispering Marsh is spectacular. Graphics are eye-catching, colorful and sharp. Locations are pretty, some of them are too green, but in generals colors look gorgeous and artwork is stunning. Music effects help build intriguing atmosphere, melodies sound creepy and suspensful.

The gameplay itself is less hooking, mostly because of the lack of originality – every single task is something we have already seen. On one hand there are many cool and entertaining hidden object scenes which are also creative. Mini-games for computers and play free puzzles come in various formats, some new some old. Also the level of challenge range in difficulties. In general it’s a busy game that won’t let you get bored for a minute. Considering the low level of difficulty in general this game only took us 4 hours to complete it. Bonus chapter added less than an hour of entertainment.
