Japanese motives pierce all the scenic backgrounds though, but there is nothing superfluous or fancy. Each gaming board is of a peculiar design. Besides, you are followed by a beautiful 2D geisha throughout the game. One more lively graphical element is the gates which open and shut as you enter or exit a mode.

Background oriental music is a characteristic which plays an appreciable role in Dreams of a Geisha. It is so well done that it agrees with the game style completely not being annoying or insensible. On the contrary, the music is very relaxing like in most Asian-themed games.
