Awakening: The Golden Age Collector's Edition

First of all, the developers decided not to continue the story about the Queen Sophia, they introduced us Sasha – she was born long before Sophia. The storyline itself is quiet intriguing: your city is being attacked by minotaurs so you escape and take a journey to the castle. There you try to end the war before it’s too late. Don’t let the kingdom collapse and save the day.

Awakening series is always recognizable for the excellent and unique artwork. This time the creators even included some 3D elements into the characters. Thanks to that they look very real and just stunning. Scenes are clear and sharp. The soundtrack and music effects are kind of dark in this free pc and mac game but it’s only for the better – they create the dark and calm atmosphere.

As for the gameplay, we can say that it’s very entertaining even though it’s less challenging than in the previous parts. The game is not boring, puzzles and mini-games are creative and unique and keep us excited and sometimes there’s a feeling that the story will never come to an end. You can choose from different modes of difficulty and if you choose the easiest one it will take you only 3,5 hours to complete the challenge. If you want you can play the Bonus chapter and have even more fun.

We are glad we got to know what happened before Sophia was born, so Awakening: The Golden Age is quiet a cool prequel. And if you haven’t played any of the previous installments you can enjoy this fun pc game anyway. So hurry up, download for free and good luck!
