Antique Road Trip 2: Homecoming

If you are not too squeamish about unchanged gameplays, Antique Road Trip 2: Homecoming can provide you with a fine portion of challenge. BoomZap, the developer of this new title, did only some cosmetic changes though, the new title is still much better than the previous one. Firstly, you don’t need to do pixel hunts there, which usually drive the majority of players crazy. There are also plenty of interactive objects and a zoom option for some items. In comparison with the first chapter, the mini-games have become more vary.

Antique Road Trip 2: Homecoming’s artwork is really worth seeing due to its vivid colors and high accuracy. Unlike most hidden object games the scenes are so crisp and bright that you don’t need to strain your eyes. You can even enjoy the banjo music which adds much on cheerful game atmosphere. The gameplay is still full of fun things. For example, you get a cute dog to give you some hints. Delight your pet with a milk-bone and he gratefully gives you a hint.

All in all, this is a light fun game with captivating hours of play. Unfortunately, the game length is inexcusably short. While there is a good number of locations, but they are all so nice and easy that we can handle them all in three hours. Dear BoomZap, we would like to play more!
